Bergvik Won the Guldvargen Award in 2025

The film series “Bergviks Värmlandshjärtan” has been named this year’s winner of the Guldvargen—a competition that honors the year’s best communication and marketing initiatives!

In our campaign, “Bergvik’s Hearts of Värmland,” we highlight the unsung heroes and amazing soccer players who make Mallbackens IF the fantastic soccer club that it is.

Reasoning:

“With *Värmlandshjärtan*, something unusual was created in our industry: a warm, respectful, and well-thought-out story where the main characters aren’t actors but real people who bring the club and the future together through volunteer hard work and a ‘never say die’ spirit stronger than any massive sponsorship budget. This is exactly how advertising should feel when it hits the mark. We would have loved to see more hours of this in a series on SVT. Prime time. Full of pyttipanna, enthusiasm, and grass patches.”

In addition, the campaign also won the Video/Audio of the Year category and took home the bronze in the Golden Heart of the Year category.

Reasoning:

“It’s easy to talk about social sustainability. It’s harder to make it visible. But Bergvik’s Värmland Hearts succeeded. With a heart that beats strongly for rural communities, volunteer work, and mug coffee in the clubhouse. We got so close that we could almost smell the liniment and the rain-soaked artificial turf. No influencers, no filters. Just dedicated enthusiasts, pyttipanna, and passion.”
