There’s an incredible amount of this in Mallbacken and at Mallbackens IF, a fantastic club with which Bergvik has launched a long-term partnership. A club where “playing soccer is the easy part; everything else is an extreme sport.”
As a small club in rural Värmland, it’s not easy to play elite soccer on the same terms as wealthy big-city clubs. It takes an incredible amount of time, fighting spirit, and volunteer dedication to make it possible—both now and in the future.
In the film series *Bergviks Värmlandhjärtan*, we get a behind-the-scenes look at life at Mallbackens IF. The club launched its women’s program in 1971 and has been playing soccer at a high level ever since.
