You’ll find our family room in the service corridor next to the food court. There are armchairs here where you can relax for a while and perhaps breastfeed in a slightly more private setting. There’s a play area for siblings and a microwave if you need to heat up food. If you need to change a diaper, there are two changing tables and trash cans. There’s also a lower-height toilet adapted for small children, as well as a toilet for adults.
We have two fun playgrounds here.
One is located in the family room next to the restrooms by the food court, and the other is by Espresso House.

To load a gift card, you'll need a credit or debit card; you can then load the gift card with any amount between 100 and 2,500 SEK.
Not all stores have chosen to participate; this is optional for store owners. We regularly update the list of participating stores here.
If you use your gift card to make a purchase at one of our stores and then want to return the item, you will not receive a cash refund; instead, you will receive a gift card from the store where you made the purchase.
At Bergvik, we have wheelchairs available for loan. There is no charge. The wheelchairs are located at the entrance to the ICA Maxi store.
Bergvik uses video surveillance in the shopping center to prevent crime and provide law enforcement agencies with greater support in solving crimes. Bergvik is authorized to conduct video surveillance in accordance with video surveillance guidelines, the Video Surveillance Act, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
To achieve this purpose, video footage is stored and may be handed over to law enforcement authorities in connection with suspected criminal activity. The camera footage is used solely for this purpose, and access to the camera system is limited to the shopping center’s security guards only.
We use your personal information in connection with the shopping center’s video surveillance. For information about where the data is stored, please contact the shopping center management at olof.ljungberg@newsec.se. Recorded footage is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of the camera system, which is 7 days.
Signs informing visitors about video surveillance are clearly posted at each entrance. These signs include contact information for the facility’s data controller. If you are dissatisfied with how Bergvik conducts its video surveillance, please contact the mall management. Complaints may also be submitted to the responsible authority, the Swedish Data Protection Authority (IMY), via the following link here.
At Bergvik, we have wheelchairs available for loan. There is no charge. The wheelchairs are located at the entrance to the ICA Maxi store.
Our photo booth is located across the street from Kjell & Company. Here, you can take photos for driver’s license renewals, ID cards, and more. The photo session is user-friendly, high-quality, and takes about 3 minutes.
There are 6 defibrillators here at Bergvik.

4. At the downtown office.
5. Next to Espresso House.
6. At Ica Maxi.
A defibrillator is used when a person is unconscious and not breathing. Before the defibrillator arrives, begin CPR and call 112.
How to use an AED:
1. Turn on the AED.
2. Attach the electrodes to the chest; once both are in place, the AED analyzes the heart rhythm.
3. The AED may give two recommendations: defibrillation or CPR.
4. A shock may be delivered if the defibrillator detects ventricular fibrillation during the analysis.
5. Continue CPR if ventricular fibrillation is not detected, and continue as long as the person is not breathing normally.
After a defibrillation shock has been administered, perform CPR for two minutes, after which the defibrillator reanalyzes the heart rhythm and, if necessary, instructs you to deliver another shock, followed by CPR for two minutes. This is repeated until the person shows clear signs of life or until help arrives. It is important to continue as long as the person shows no signs of life.

Information Stations: All three entrances have information signs with directions to stores and service areas. The lower part features a smaller map that is accessible if you are in a wheelchair.
Parking: There are marked accessible parking spaces closest to the entrance at all three entrances.
Wheelchair Rental: You can find wheelchairs at Ica Maxi.
Restrooms: There is a restroom accessible to people with disabilities in every service corridor.
Entrances: For wheelchair users, there are push bars outside all entrances to open the side doors next to the turnstile.
Dogs: Certified service and guide dogs are permitted inside.
We have 25 public restrooms; they are free of charge and located in four different areas of the center
At the Bronze Entrance/next to Systembolaget, there are 4 regular restrooms and 1 accessible restroom.
At the food court, there are 8 regular restrooms and 1 accessible restroom. There is also a family room here for those who want to feed or breastfeed their children or change diapers. The family room features a play area, a microwave, and restrooms for both children and adults.
Near Espresso House: There are 3 standard restrooms and 1 accessible restroom with a changing table.
Near Ica Maxi: There are 4 standard restrooms and 1 accessible restroom.
If you've lost any valuables (wallets, cell phones, ID, keys, etc.), we have a central lost and found office at Bergvik.
You can reach our lost and found department by phone at 070-249 97 43 between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
You can easily charge your device at our built-in furniture units. They are located along the walkways.
As a visitor, you are welcome to use our “Bergvik free” Wi-Fi throughout the shopping center.

BY CAR FROM THE STOCKHOLM AREA
If you’re coming from the Stockholm area, continue on the E18 past Karlstad. After about 4 kilometers, you’ll see a sign for Bergvik. Turn right here. At the next roundabout, turn left. At the following roundabout, turn right and continue straight ahead. After a few hundred meters, you’ll find Bergvik on your left.
BY CAR FROM THE OSLO AREA
If you're coming from Oslo, take the E18 and pass Skutberget Campground on your right. Shortly after that, you'll see a sign for Bergvik. Turn right, and you've arrived!
Public transportation is convenient; you can easily reach Bergvik by bus from downtown Karlstad. Bus routes 1 and 4 go to Bergvik.
There are 2,200 parking spaces at Bergvik. Parking is free between 5:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. Parking is prohibited at other times.
If you own an electric or hybrid car, you can take the opportunity to charge your vehicle at Karlstad’s largest charging station. It features 10 fast-charging outlets (max 300 kW) and 40 AC charging points (max 22 kW).
